ISPASS 2026 Student Travel Grants
ISPASS 2026 is now offering travel support to encourage student participation at the conference. Applications and the grant amount will be decided on a case-by-case basis (i.e., funding is NOT guaranteed). All undergraduate and graduate students interested in learning and sharing research in system software performance analysis are welcome to apply. Students do not need to be authors/presenters on an accepted paper at ISPASS to qualify for the student travel grant award, though the applications from authors/presenters will receive higher priority.
Student Travel Grants are made possible by the generous support of our sponsors: NSF, TCCA, TCuArch
Application requirements:
- Submit the ISPASS-2026 Travel Grant Application Form.
- The deadline to submit the application form is March 20th, 2026 (AoE).
- The application form requires students to upload a letter from their advisor. The letter should include the following information: 1) state that you are a full-time student pursuing a B.S./M.S./Ph.D./PostDoc at the time of the conference in the areas covered by ISPASS, 2) comment on availability (or lack thereof) of travel funds for you from other funding sources, 3) indicate whether or not you are currently supported on a Federal fund, and 4) commit to covering the cost of travel in excess of the travel grant. The advisor is also welcome to comment on the potential broader impact of making an award to you.
Important notes:
- Student travel support applications submitted past the deadline or with missing or incorrect information is automatically considered ineligible for the award.
- Awardees must keep original receipts for reimbursement.
- Expenses will be reimbursed after the conference.
- Awardees from U.S. schools must fly with U.S.-based carriers for airfare reimbursement.
- Awardees will be required to submit a short essay (approx. two pages) describing their ISPASS experience. The essay should describe what they have learned and conference highlights.
- If selected, you will be notified via email.
