ISPASS 2027 will host both workshops and tutorials at the conference venue. Their purpose is to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and preliminary results on topics related to ISPASS, in an interactive setting. We invite proposals from both academia and industry.
A workshop or tutorial associated with ISPASS 2027 may be half a day or a full day in length.
What every proposal must contain
Submit a 1–2 page PDF containing:
- Type — workshop or tutorial
- Title
- Abstract — 150 to 200 words describing the event, suitable for publication on the conference website
- Contact information of the workshop or tutorial chair(s)
- Duration — half day or full day
- Expected number of participants
- Advertisement — how you plan to solicit participation, for example through social media, a dedicated website, or mailing lists
- History — attendance and submission numbers for past editions of the same workshop or tutorial, at this or other conferences, if any
Additional contents for a workshop proposal
- A sample call for papers, including title, scope, format and main topics
- Workshop deadlines
- Invited keynote speakers, if any
- Panel discussion, if any
- Organizers’ biographies and affiliations
- A tentative list of programme committee members
- Whether selected papers will be published, and if so where and how
Additional contents for a tutorial proposal
- Rationale for co-locating with ISPASS
- An outline of the tutorial content, objectives and speakers
- Prerequisite knowledge expected of attendees
- Special requirements, if any
- A biography of the organizers and their relevant experience on the topic
