Before you start

All authors of accepted papers must complete the copyright transfer before submitting final materials to IEEE. The submission site redirects you to the copyright form during the process.

Formatting

Use the same format as the initial submission — see the IEEE conference templates — and check the following.

  • Paper size: US Letter, 8.5 × 11.0 inches. A4 may not be used. Verify the final size in your PDF reader under File → Properties → Description.
  • Use the template’s conference mode.
  • Add author information using the template’s predefined author block.
  • Margins: top and bottom 1.00″, sides 0.75″.
  • Font size: no smaller than 10pt for body text.
  • Line spacing: single-spaced.
  • The paper must be formatted for black-and-white printers. Check that figures remain readable when printed in greyscale.
  • Do not number the pages, and do not add headers or footers of any kind.

Page limits

  • Regular paper without artifact evaluation: 10 pages.
  • Regular paper with artifact evaluation: 12 pages — the 10-page limit plus a two-page artifact appendix.
  • References do not count towards the limit; an unlimited number of additional pages is allowed for references.
  • No extra pages may be purchased.

If your paper includes an artifact appendix, order the content as: paper contents → references → artifact evaluation appendix, with no gaps inserted between the parts.

Validate the PDF with IEEE PDF eXpress

IEEE requires the final PDF to be Xplore-compatible. Validate it with PDF eXpress before submitting:

  1. Choose “First time logging in to PDF eXpress”.
  2. Enter the ISPASS 2027 Conference ID (announced with the camera-ready instructions).
  3. Enter your email address and choose a password.
  4. Upload either your source files for conversion, or a PDF for checking.
  5. If the system reports a problem you will receive an email describing it; otherwise it emails you an Xplore-compatible PDF.
